In-kind Donations
The services that we provide are only possible thanks to the generosity of others. In-Kind gifts of goods or services are an important source of help for our neighbors. We accept donations of food, hygiene items, diapers, and many other items. You can call us at 317-632-9785 to schedule a drop off time, or simply stop by any week day from 9:00am – 4:00pm.
Time
We run on volunteers with 512 people donating over 8,000 hours in the last year. Westminster Neighborhood Services has volunteer opportunities for both groups and individuals. Volunteers for all positions are required to participate in our general orientation and job-specific trainings.

Food Pantry: Join us in distributing food and basic hygiene items, assist with the intake process for WNS’s clients, or assist with guided shopping. Mondays, Thursdays from 9:00AM - 12:00PM, and Tuesdays from 6:00PM - 7:00PM

Soup Kitchen: Assist with the serving of breakfast and lunch for our neighbors in need. Mondays and Thursdays from 9:00AM - 12:00PM.

Youth Services Tutor: Assist Afterschool students with homework help or focused academic activities to help where they are struggling.

Food Delivery Assistant: Help to stock our shelves with food, toiletries, and clothing from food banks, businesses, organizations, and individuals.

Christmas Baskets: Join us in assembling baskets and wrapping gifts and distributing them to families in need.
